Retreat Payment Policy
Once you have completed the pre-screening stage with Melissa and have agreed to move forward with booking your Luxe in Toronto Retreat experience, Melissa will then send you a confirmation email; once you have received the confirmation email you will be granted a courtesy hold which requires either full payment or an agreed upon deposit towards your spot at the retreat; payment must be made within 5 business days to ensure your spot has been secured.
It is your (the client’s) responsibility to carefully read and understand the Luxe in Toronto Retreat cancellation policy before formally making a reservation.
At Transition Your Image and Life we understand that emergencies arise and that reservations are not made with the expressed intention of cancelling or postponing your retreat, but we also realize that life happens in unexpected ways, and as such we highly recommend that you (the client) purchases cancellation insurance once you have made payment.
Cancellation: The client chooses not to attend their scheduled Luxe in Toronto Retreat – these actions also includes rescheduling and postponing their retreat.
Client: The individual who has formally made payment towards the Luxe in Toronto Retreat.
We: The company Transition Your Image and Life who has created and host the Luxe in Toronto Retreat.
Travel and Cancellation Insurance
To formally reserve your spot at the Luxe in Toronto Retreat the client must have travel insurance that is verifiable and covers the following: Trip Cancellation, 24/7 Emergency Assistance and Travel Accidents.
Important Note: Please carefully choose your travel insurance provider because not all agencies offer the above-mentioned coverage in a bundled package. You will need to ask exactly what is included; since in some circumstances, they may only pay a portion of the cancellation fee, not all of it; to be safe, double check before purchasing. In addition, most travel agencies require that you purchase travel coverage within 14 days of making travel arrangements.
Guest Cancellation Policy
Clients who cancel their Luxe in Toronto Retreat will not receive a refund for any amount put towards their retreat; whether it was paid in full or a deposit was made to secure your spot. Luxe in Toronto Retreats do not, under any circumstance offer refunds for cancellations. However, whatever was the monetary amount that you paid towards your retreat may be used as a credit towards another retreat which must be used within 2 years of the client’s original booking date.
Important Note: Depending on the date of your cancellation, penalties may be incurred.
Cancellation fees are determined by the outlined schedule:
• Cancellations more than 90 days before the commencement of your Luxe in Toronto Retreat – 100% of your payment may be applied to a future Luxe in Toronto Retreat.
• Cancellations 60-89 days before the commencement of your Luxe in Toronto Retreat – 75% of your payment may be applied to a future Luxe in Toronto Retreat. 25% will be withheld off the price of your retreat.
• Cancellations 15-59 days before the commencement of your Luxe in Toronto Retreat – 40% of your payment may be applied to a future Luxe in Toronto Retreat. 60% will be withheld off the price of your retreat.
• Cancellation 14 days or less before the commencement of your Luxe in Toronto Retreat, you forfeit the entire Luxe in Toronto Retreat. No credit will be applied to future bookings.
There are no exceptions to be made. Our terms and policy are firmly in place and are not to be challenged, nor negotiated under any circumstances. Furthermore, we do not grant credits to guest who decide to leave the retreat early. All clients must agree to submit a Luxe in Toronto Retreat Release and Waiver Form within one week of booking or 90 days prior to the commencement of the retreat. Your booking cannot be formally confirmed without the Release and Waiver form being signed. If for whatever unfortunate reason you must cancel your Luxe in Toronto Retreat you agree to a refund being paid directly to Transition Your Image and Life, which constitutes a full settlement.
If you have any other plans you have arranged for yourself outside of your time with Melissa, those plans are to be handled by you. Thus, if you choose to stay longer than the five days or want to, for example, go sightseeing outside of the planned activities within the Luxe in Toronto Retreat you are solely responsible for those additional expenses.
