If you have determined that you look your absolute best in warm colors, then you will want to pay closer attention to the depth of your skin, hair and eye qualities warmth. Warm Autumn Women of Style present as having a warm, golden-bronze or golden peaches ‘n cream, olive or alabaster skin tone to their overall appearance. By now you might be asking what is the difference between Warm/True Autumn, Soft Autumn and Deep Autumn? If you haven’t done so already, please review my previous article on the Soft Autumn Woman of Style when you are done reviewing that article and watching the companion video, return to today’s article to gain more insight!
So, what are the physical characteristics of the Warm Autumn Woman of Style? Firstly, you are void of any coolness in your skin undertones. You present as warm not only in your skin undertones, but also your eye and hair color. There is no coolness to your overall appearance; you are a TRUE autumn season. When you think of the transitioning seasons from Summer to Autumn you will notice that there is a subtle, golden, richness observed during the Autumn season. Classic autumn colors such as, spicy pumpkin orange, mustard yellows, paprika reds, rusty browns, muddy greens, bronze and coppery earth tones; are just a few of the traditional autumn colors that are not only observed during the fall season, but also evident in women who are Warm Autumn Women of Style.
If you are woman of color, more specifically an African American woman you will present as golden- brown bronze with gorgeous golden, sunlit eyes in varying intensities of warm dark brown to dark golden brown. Notable African American women celebrities who are classic Warm Autumns include, but are not limited to Jada Pinkett Smith, Eva Marcille and Erykah Badu, just to name a few.
Below is a classic, Warm Autumn Woman of Style who happens to be a non-celebrity example who also presents as the traditional, Autumn, Ginger-Redhead. However, notable celebrity examples of a classic Warm Autumn Woman of Style include: Elizabeth Gillies (the actress from Dynasty) and Isla Fisher (the actress from The Great Gatsby). Caucasian women who present as a Warm Autumn Woman of Style present as golden – peaches ‘n cream, alabaster and neutral leaning towards warm in skin tone. However, if you happen to be a natural redhead you are a TRUE Autumn whose eyes are probably warm hazel, golden-brown or turquoise-green.
Please Note: There are a select few redheads who are Warm Springs and look their absolute in the Warm Spring color palette. Typically, you will present as ivory in skin tone with a delicate overall quality to your apperance and your eyes usually present as subtle blue with a hint of warmth to it.

What are your POWER colors?
Your palettes POWER colors are colors, for example, from the Warm Autumn color palette and will radiate against your vibrant natural coloring. POWER colors of the Warm Autumn color palette convey an energetic vibration that are rich in texture, warm and sunlit briliant, which illuminates the best of who you are in your overall image and personal style, as well as your personal brand. These colors are your palettes GO-TO colors when you want to make a confident, powerful statement; especially in business/corporate environments – more on that later!
What are your ANCHOR colors?
The ANCHOR colors found within the Warm Autumn color palette are considered neutral colors that can be found in your (or should be added to your) wardrobe capsules. Anchor colors ‘anchor’ your wardrobes overall look; for example, if you chose to wear a Chocolate Brown, 2-piece, pant suit to work or a job interview you can complement this outfit with your POWER colors as an inside blouse, completed with one of your palettes signature, ACCENT colors (coming up next!). Likewise, you can also wear your palettes anchor colors in your handbags, shoes, outdoor fall/winter/sping/summer accessories. Anchor colors are your palettes BEST neutral colors that pull everything together into a fabulous, cohesive personal style.
What are your ACCENT colors?
Lastly, your palettes ACCENT colors are the Warm Autumn’s most energetic, sunlit colors that some women who fall within the Warm Autumn color palette may feel is too strong for them to wear within their actual wardrobe items. The rule for me and which I share with my clients is the 80/20 rule. This means that I have chosen to wear 80% of my palettes POWER + ANCHOR colors and about 20% of my palettes ACCENT colors only in my accessories, my nail color, and selectively in my makeup colors. For example, one of the accent colors from the Warm Autumn color palette is that of Deep Periwinkle and Sunlit Marigold. These colors might be too strong for some women; however, by utilizing the 80\20 rule you can incorporate your palettes accent on your nail polish, as lipgloss/lipstick which adds a pop of sultry color to your normal makeup palette or to your evening accessories. Again, how you choose to wear any of your palettes signature colors are personal to you.
